At Paradise Scuba & Snorkeling Center we offer over 20 different dive sites for the beginner or the experience divers.

We schedule daily trips with a minimum of 4 divers to dive a The Parguera Wall. The depths can go from 60 ft to 120 ft were you will enjoy breathtaking walls full of color and abundant marine life at this reef site. We include in all our dive trips snacks, refreshments and bottle water.

Morning dives: 8:30 am – 1:00 pm – 2 Tank dive (Wall Dive)

Afternoon dives: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – 1 Tank dive (Reef Dive)

Night diving is an advanced diving experience that most divers are eager to experience.  Under the sea at night is an entirely different experience than during the day.  This dive is for experienced scuba divers only.

At night you'll head out to a local reef for a 1-tank boat dive.  Under the sea you'll have flashlights to follow your Dive Master carefully, where he'll show you all of the night creatures as they make their way across the sea floor.  On a Puerto Rico night dive you'll be able to spy octopus, lobster, shrimp, jellyfish, crabs and more.  All of these noctural sea creatures only come out to explore after the sun goes down.

This is the perfect Puerto Rico scuba diving adventure for non-certified divers. The participant will first have some instruction in the basics of scuba diving at our classroom. You'll learn scuba theory, equipment and philosophy in a short land lesson.  You will also learn some of the basics of scuba diving such as buoyancy control, mask clearing and regulator retrieval. Then you will visit one of our pristine clear dive sites in La Parguera where you'll be able to practice your new skills of scuba diving with a Certified PADI Scuba Instructor.

For the discovery scuba dive in Puerto Rico you will go down not any deeper than 40 ft and this will be a one-on-one pairing with a dive master so that you feel comfortable at all times.  We ensure that you remain in a safe and controlled environment so you can enjoy your first scuba diving experience in La Parguera! All equipment is included.

Morning dive: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm – 1 Tank dive

Afternoon dive: 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm – 1 Tank dive

Benefits of Discovery Diving

The discovery scuba dive is a safe and shallow dive that allows non-certified divers the chance to experience life under the sea.  This one-on-one scuba experience in Puerto Rico will be with a highly qualified PADI dive master who has vast knowledge of the local waters, scuba diving and teaching new students.  For your Puerto Rico discovery dive, you'll be at a maximium depth of 40 feet which allows you to explore and experience the reef life at this depth without fear.  At 40 feet depth, you can safely surface without any worries of injury.  The guide will take you under in a slow and personal manner so that you have a positive experience for your first scuba dive in Puerto Rico.  Diving in La Parguera is a magical experience and for those who may not have time to complete an open water certification prior to their vacation to Puerto Rico, this is a great compromise for getting the best of scuba diving in La Parguera. But be warned!  Often our visitors are hooked after their first discovery dive experience and you might need to come back to Parguera in the near future to continue diving with us!
