Puerto Rico Bioluminescent Bay Snorkeling Tours
The bioluminescent bay at La Parguera is the only bio-lagoon that allows snorkeling. You can actually put on a mask and enjoy as the dinoflagellates light up around you. Your trip begins on board with a light dinner of fresh empanadillas and soda or beer and an introduction to the natural phenomenon around Puerto Rico’s bioluminescent bay. You then head out on one of our comfortable dive boats for a 20-minute trip through the mangrove canals to the actual bay.
The meeting point will be in the La Parguera square in front of our dockhouse’s gate. Staff will escort you to the boat, and once aboard, you’ll navigate straight to the Bio Bay (no stops at Cayo Caracoles in between).
